I don't know exactly, but I think 15-20, overall! (5 actual groups in 3DS Max)!

Nice. Did you bake the normal map from a high poly model or was the normal map created in photoshop (or whatever programm you are using ;) )

The detailing is done using displacement maps ?
And what s the polycount ? Your modelisation technique seems rather efficient.

this is just the model (2885 polys) with Normal map applied!
I'm still working on other textures :D
